French Angel - Small (2"-3.5" Length)

French Angel The French Angelfish is a very hardy species that needs plenty of live rock for grazing as well as a variety of hiding places. As this species will nip at corals and other inverts, it is generally not a good candidate for a reef tank. At times, the French Angelfish may harass similarly shaped fish and may also attempt to control tankmates. In the wild, this fish is found in coral reefs at depths of 15 feet or less in areas that provide plenty of shelter from nocturnal predators. However, this species is also known to be curious about divers and swimmers.
